The story is about this 17 years-old girl, Aimi, moving in to an 30 years-old apartment with her father. Her mother was killed in a car accident 2 years ago. Her father, formerly a famous reporter, due to his wife, lost the will in work drank himself to sleep. When they moved in, they discover that there is a rope tied in between of 2 rocks at the enterance, all household welcome them. They found it weird as they are way too friendly. When they moved in, an household moved house. So Aimi went down and the family who moving out said sorry to her. She find it strange but ignored it.
The landlord told Aimi some rules in which every tenant must return home to the apartment building before midnight, and they cannot say the word 'Ai'. Aimi told her father about it, her father think others are just feeling superstitious.
Soon, Aimi learnt about the story of the haunted apartment. There is a 17 years-old girl, named Ai, who went missing 30 years ago. Rumours saying she love and miss the apartment that why she haunt the apartment. No one leave the apartment after midnight nor moved house, if not will die at the dot of 12am. Years later, people discovered that when a new household move in, the oldest household can moved out alive.
Aimi got scared and everynight, she hear strange sound. When she woke up, she will always find sands on the floor. One day, an household of 3 decided to move house as the bread winner transfering to another city to work. They moved, but died at the dot of 12am. Another time, a woman from an household worked late night and caught in a traffic jam. But luckily, she got into the apartment just on time.
Soon after, Aimi's father as a journalist, wrote a report about it. All household got angry as no family will move in haunted apartment. All the other household suddenly got together and wanted to kill him. But luckily, he got away safety. Aimi decided to look into this matter and went into the house Ai stayed. Aimi discovered something strange in the wall and decided to knock down the wall. Ai was found in the wall.
So, the truth revealed. Ai was killed in the house by her father, as her father trying to rape her. Ai was buried onto the wall. Aimi called her father to come back saying that the household decided not to kill him. Aimi's father ran all the way back, lying flat on the ground, but when the time strike 12am, Aimi told her father, he is outside the line which means still outside of the apartment. Aimi's father is killed by Ai. Aimi said to her father, 'You deserve it'.
