just got back from bkk on 29th march!
stayed at pathuwan princess hotel, really like it! the service is real good. dunno issit cuz i stayed in a suite that they provide such good service. another thing is that the hotel is connected to mbk via basement. therefore, it is reallyyyyy convenient!
there are many things to buy, going at a crazy rate! shoes at 199, big travellers bag @ 199, cheap cheap apparels etc.! best if you go to the wholesale centre cuz it's dirt cheap (i got 3 pairs of nice shorts @ less than 15bucks!!)! exchange rate is 22.45 at MBK. dunno if it has dropped.
oh another thing is that when you take taxis, beware! some taxi drivers will ask you to go to this place to purchase something, thereafter they get the commission for bringing you there. also, remember to know the exact location and a rough amount of how much it will cost per ride there cuz one of the taxi i boarded claimed that its metre is spoilt so yeah, many of this cases happening!
