Re: Bangkok thailand~ Anyone knows if the suan lum night market is still open? Heard the gov is going to close it down. Its a great place to visit. The chinatown area is super crowded! Quite alot of things to see though. Give the sharkfin soup a miss though, nothing special to me (but of course i couldn't afford the most expensive type, haha). Visit the chatuchak wknd market if you happen to be there on a Saturday or Sunday, Central World Plaza for upmarket stuff(the food in the foodcourt there is quite affordable though),MBK and Siam Square would be nice places to visit.
And yes, i found the exchange rate better in BBK airport better than in SG. So you might just want to change a little over here and check out the exchange rate there.
