Re: Which University/Courses Can I Go??? so, when you're offered the scholarship after the selection, you have to check out every single detail, see if there are any hidden rules (e.g. specific course you have to take).. 'cos i don't think sph only give out one scholarship, they have different scholarships, for different depts.. if everything seems normal, i don't see why you should give up the chance in any way. scholarships are hard to come by (like in my case, i can't apply for any because i don't have a friggin' A except for my chinese, and i'm not taking any h3)
when considering whether to go abroad or stay in singapore for your degree, it depends what uni the company can offer. it is vital to check out the uni's reputation in that field, and if you like the environment. the school's culture is important as well, because certain universities are "well-known" for their discrimination against asians etc. but of course, you have to consider the school's popularity amongst international students... the more popular it is, the more difficult to get in, the harder to dig out the situation in the school (e.g. bullying cases, drug addicts) |
