I have been to Singapore a few times, but then that was when I was small, so I don't remember a thing.
My Mum just says:
* Your dad was told off once for showering twice in a day.
* The food courts are super cool.
* The taxi drivers speak excellent English.
* You can't eat or drink on the trains.
* It's very hot outside, but when in the shopping centres, it's so cold that employees wear extra clothing.
* It's a tiny place (Mum claims that we've "been everywhere there".)
Why did I join SGC? Because I think Singapore is super cool. I.e. the controversial bloggers, the parallel economy/living standards with Australia, a bit of the music (though I'm not a big fan at all of the dramas...) and...SOTmagazine (do you know of it?).
And yeah, that's about it.
Hopefully I'm better able to have a say (compared to bustling AsianFanatics and Soompi).
