This year all five polytechnic planned intake is approximately 24593 places. After the Joint-Admission exercise, 19,800 o's students got a place in poly. Approximately 4793 places is up for grab. For the extra 4793 places mass appeal and nitec/higher nitec admission is the top priority, DAE will come last so chances are slim so better be prepared for the worst and alternative is to accept the ITE first or apply for private o's before it's too late because the DAE posting will only release either from mid-march or mid-april, by the time the semester start liao.
