Thumbs up Re: Wine Investment

Here is an article about wine investment :http://singaporeprofit.com/2007/07/2...-in-singapore/

Just to say that i am a wine broker.

Would like to share to those who does not have the knowledge or interested about wine investments but still not sure to invest, Just ask yourself if you are a risk taker and you have already done many other form of investment, i believe this will benefit you now and in the future..

brief about wine investment.("en primeur" what they call it.)

Yes i do wine investment, but we are professional where we select range of wines amongst thousands of labels and winery in the world for collection and investment. The wines that we bring in is at their greatest potential for capital growth. We offer our clients at the most attractive prices and furnish them with full profile of the wines in the best form of Vintages, Winery and ratings by world known wine critics like Robert Parker Jr. The wines are stored in a bonded warehouse which is kept in ideal climate of 14degrees & 70% humidity and with full insurance coverage.(if the bottles to be broken)

Some steps to invest in wine.

1. Buy wines which are highly recommended by wine critics/best vintages/winery.
2. You require at least $5000 and invest for a minimum of 3-5 years.(but best if you want to see BIG BUCKS in is about 10k portfolio)
3. You stand to get annual average returns from 8 to 12 percent. Some good wine investments returned 12-40 percent.(varies according to market performances)
4. Since there is limited supply, but increasingly more people drink them, demand is high. This adds to the value of the wine as a luxury item.

There are a few reasons to invest in wines.
* Tax Free
* World-Wide Demand
* Increasing Rarity
* Low Risk
* Decreasing Availability
* Customised Portfolios
* Easily Realisable
* Personal ownership of tangible asset
* No Annual Management Fees

So this is just a brief for those who are thinking about wine investment.

I believe that currently US is going for a recession soon, and UT are not going that well too.

Maybe this will be a beneficial way to do investment now..
