Lolx...I was there too yesterday so I know! But the fact is still that you were late/ If 30 mins late or even 1 hour late, I would probably understand but 3 hours+ late?...no one is flaming you.
The fact is that you reached Telok Blangah at 5pm+ and it even if you had walked from Tiong Bahru, you would have reached there within an hour. btw....3 hours can drive up to KL liao!
Talking about committment or discipline, if your friends doubt that they can find their way, they should have been at TB at 2pm to 2:30pm.
Jun has to call you periodically even when we were playing a game among ourselves and you have the cheek to say something to the effect like "bopian leh, superstars are always late". Young man, you are not even a SLeague player material yet but the altitude shown by you is that of a prima donna. You may be good but not that good. There are always players who are better than you.
