So you think the same way about Riise too? Yeah, he's not the same Riise three or four years ago - he was fantastic then, usually man-of-the-match - his dribbling, tackles, shooting and passing were all superb. I think he's become too complacent now besides being older, slower, less committed to defend, tackle etc.. CR will humiliate him!
Aurelio is more enthusiastic although defensively not that much better. Arbeloa is as good as Finnan now and will get better because he's young.
I'm not as keen as you about Alonso playing in this one. I feel it is too soon to play in such a high-tempo game after injury. I will keep Masch and Gerrard in the middle, and Benayoun and Kewell on the wings with Torres and Crouch in front. For the same reason, I will not bring Agger back even if he's fit to play - not against the Mancs.
So my team : Reina, Arbeloa, Carra, Hyppia, Aurelio, Benayoun, Gerrard, Masch, Kewell, Crouch and Torres; subs : Lucas, Babel, Voronin, Alonso
