Ahem...good writing skills require good command of the English grammar, spelling and vocabulary. That's fine when have to type reports or send emails to business clienteles online.
But, in a forum like this whereby 99.99% of members are native Singaporeans, Singlish should be acceptable if only to bridge the more proficient in English members to the members whose command of the English language is weak.
To be fair there will be non-Chinese Singaporeans who will like to be members here but when they see hanyu pinyin, they feel isolated...get what I mean?
