I have been there before. the food is alright, but cant beat singapores' cuisine. I think the long queues are mainly due to foreigners and maybe locals who want to try the food out. You know, it always feels great to eat something that taste like home! just like the time went i was in denmark copehagan, i met a singaporean who opens a restuarant there with singapore food, even though the food isnt fab but the feeling of eating something that taste like home feel sooo good. As for the locals, people are materialism and brand concious. Cant blame them from trying it out. Just like me, i went there to it mainly coz its called New york and i think it should be nice.
