I wanted to set this topic too. Great mind think alike.
First of all, I don't believe in real-life fairy tale. Now in this era, there are married couples married over 20 years and they file for divorce. One example is like my family, not divorce yet, but I guess soon. In this era, especially in Singapore, everything is realistic. Money is what people see. No money, no talk.
For teenager's puppy love, they tends to think of 'forever' and 'fairy tale'. I used to think about getting married during relationship when I was young. But now, all these are just rubbish. I now don't even believe without career can get a relationship which lead to marriage.
