You have to understand the background of the company and the products of the company. There are thing su need to do:
1) The history of the company ( how many years it has begun as a proof of its stability)
2) Reliability
3) Compensation plan
4) Quality and affordable products
5) Support
6) Low risk
I'm also in MLM and these are the things that I look out for. A company has to prove itself and the products and services have to be good. In addition, it must provide you with all the support needed to help you start in your business. When u start out in mlm, remember its your own networking business and nobody is supposed to force you or to meet a quota,according to my opinion. You hav opt in to have your own independence business becas you want to escape from the corporate world of office politics (guessing) and to find the life that you dream of. However, Judy, as I look upon as a friend, i have to say truthfully that in the midst of selling products or sponsoring someone, you will be rejected and also some embarassing moments e.g questions u cannot answer etc. However, its a learning process and I can also ensure you that through it, you are developing yourself and the process is rewarding. Also, your income depends on your effort and you needs to have patient. However, the greatest thing is the opportunity to share with someone who is hopeless and there you are giving them a hope of achieiving in life and bring before them the vision of their own potential in which they cannot see themselves.
My company is a global company and is listed. Investment is literally zero and the products ( homecare etc...) are top-notch and economical. We have scientists and engineers supporting us to produce products and the marketing and sales plan are fair and good. The most important thing is that you don't sell alone.
