It's very similar to another riddle I've read before....
Anyway it's not a matter of missing dollar....
each pax pay $10 ( initial)
$10 x 3 =$30
Each of them gets back $1
So it's only $9 each.
$9 x 3 = $27
$1 x 3 = $3
Bill is $25 after refund and bellboy pocket $2
$25 + $2 = $27
So the 3 of them still paid $27 which $2 is being pocket by the bellboy. |
