Like....hmm that's very general. I guess it differs according to the magnitude. I might say I like someone, but it could mean I like him as a person. It does not really mean I'm having a crush on him.

However, if I mean love as in I adore my friends (which I do say very often) than it just means that well, I love them for being my friends,
