If u would wan to learn a effective martial art.go for muaythai, boxing, sanshou or brazilian jitsu.Try to avoid traditional martial arts.
i dun agree wif ur point sayin that only muaythai, boxing, sanshou or brazilian jitsu are considered effective martial art. im sure all forms are effective, its juz how skilled the person is and how long it takes for a person trainnig in that art to be able to use it well. if whichever Traditional martial arts are considered ineffective, i tink they wouldnt hav survive for so long. juz my 2cents worth
