Here's a little story.
In olden chinese history (or rather, bogus myths), it was said that the Gods favour sons and would take away your newborn if he happens to be male.
To prevent them from doing so, anxious parents pierced their son's ears so as to to disguise him as a girl.
So, fooled, the sons will be safe with them. So yea, that's the original reason why boys have pierced ears.
And why both sides? Er, to make it more value for money?  The girl with the signature red font. -The name thee dare not speaketh- |
