Former driver fined $6,000 for causing death A FORMER private bus driver was fined $6,000 and banned from driving for three years for causing the death of a motorcyclist.
Teo Seng Chee, 48, now a temporary production operator, pleaded guilty to causing the death of Mr Teo Kok Chye, 52, at the junction of Gul Road and Pioneer Sector Walk on Aug 20 last year.
He was making a right turn into Pioneer Sector Walk when he failed to conduct proper checks on the oncoming traffic, thus hitting the front of Mr Teo's motorcycle.
