Re: Internships internship is supposed to give undergrads a taste of what the working life is like. the problem is that typically, the person-in-charge or HR is not 'prepared' in terms of work scope or the time to commit to guide the interns.
pay is not everything. this initial exposure, especially for those who had not even tried part-time work, is quite important to give a glimpse of working life. it is up to the intern to ask questions, ask for relevant work, talk to the colleagues to see if there's something else that they can learn in the 10 or 12 weeks of internship...
