They shouldn't talk about cartels, because you simply cannot find evidence that there is price-fixing by a cartel. And they'll never admit it anyway...

What we should and could fault them for, is that they are strangely selectively responsive to crude oil price fluctuations... When prices go up, their pump prices go up very fast, sometimes going up even before crude oil prices go up...

And when crude oil prices drop... They'll take ages for pump prices to drop, or even never dropping... Always the same excuse, that they're not sure whether the drop is short-term or long term...
