Actually in my opinion, I think her problem and challenges are rather common. Nowadays, many companies expects and demands a lot from their employees. Receving about a 100 emails a day is pretty common for an executive, it's even worst if you are a manager. My average is about 80 and on month ends it sometimes goes up to 150. It's up to the individual to take his or her own initiative to handle stress before it handles you. I am speaking from experience here. I used to be under extreme stress until I had to take MC almost once every two weeks. Even though I was on MC and was suppose to be at home resting, I was also working away. I spent most of my weekends working too. Can you imagine my company even sent me for all those time and stress management courses and I didn't even bother to take heed of all the training and advice I was given?

Nowadays, I take things easier because I have paid a heavy price for abandoning my family. I hope other people can learn from my mistakes before it's too late. I was once one of those that pursue the Singaporean dream and I end up all alone now without someone to share it :cry3:. So my advice to all young executives out there is to stop what you are doing once in a while and take time to enjoy your surrounding and environment, your family and other things that you can appreciate and be thankful for. You may think that I am a looser but I think otherwise for at least I have managed to learn a valuable lesson and am now a lot more appreciative for simple things in live
