To me, it works only if you are buying shoes, like sport shoes. For open shoes, like sandals, it's still ok, but you must be very careful, as someone may accidentally step onto your shoes. For closed shoes, like pumps, it's a no-no, cos it makes walking difficult... your shoes may "fly off" anytime.

Yup, I also read that article, but can't remember who is that artiste. :handsup: But it sounds quite ridiculous to me, though no harm trying. By the way, think your shoes may bore teeth marks after biting it. :speechless:
Plasters is definitely a must to have for new closed heel shoes. You can also put paddings on your shoes to reduce the friction induce... it's very effective, though plasters is definitely recommended to go with it for the first few wears. By the way, I'm speaking from my personal experience.
I bought the paddings (brand name is Scholl) from BHG (formerly known as Seiyu) for $4+ (can't remember the exact cost). Does anyone knows where to get them at a cheaper price?
