Re: Online Degrees; Would u hire me? Hi ladiemadonna, usually online courses are accepted by most companies if they are recognised. However, I think you are mistaken as I don't believe that Oxford university in U.K. does and distance learning courses for degrees, only advanced diploma and short courses.
I have also just checked out their website and I couldn't find any degree courses leh. You have to be careful that a lot of universities that are not accredited can simply make use of Oxford or Cambridge logos just to make people sign up for their courses and the big blow will come later when you graduated and you find that your degree is not recognised by these prestigious universities themselves. Also, affiliated degrees where a private institution gives out certs with their logo together with Cambridge's logo side by side as they have paid Cambridge the royalty for doing so can also be very subjective. If the private institution that used to be good becomes bad and looses their credibility, then their degrees suddenly become a piece of thrash paper. So my advice is to do your research properly before commiting for any online courses. Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again.
