May I suggest you edit your 1st thread, click 'Go Advanced' and change the thread title to 'Discussion for Dinner Outing'....then members can give suggestions/feedbacks etc. As this is not a confirmed outing and I believe u juz want to suss out who's interested, create another thread AFTER you have the quota of responses for your proposed outing.
If u start giving out details now and then get all kinds of mixed opinions from members, it'll be a hassle to change and change either your venue/time and even day/date de.
