People are not likely to visually study things that are simplistic or predictable, and when things are chaotic or threathening, we tend to look away.

Ok, funnysnow...u see two statements in the topic.
1. People are NOT likely to visually study things that are simplistic or
predictable
2. When things are chaotic or threatening, we tend to look away
That 'not' is tricky....it is an assumption word. It assumes people in general don't and won't bother to look closely at objects/people/incidents that are plain/commonplace/nothing unusual.
You have to cite examples by using stories to show you understand this part of the essay topic.
Then for the 2nd statement, you have to link your stories from your 1st statement so there is a flow.
In essay writing, what the teachers are looking for is HOW WELL YOU UNDERSTAND THE TOPIC TITLE. Use simple forms of English. Just get your message through clearly so that whoever is reading your essay know what you are talking about.
Funnysnow, I can only help u to know how to present your essay. Writing is personal expressions of your thoughts and feelings and if anyone don't share YOUR thoughts and feelings then using their essay is not being true to yourself de.
