It makes things a lot easier if the person you are dating gets along with your friends. If there is tension there, then either your friendships will suffer of your relationship will. And people have different tastes. Even amongst my friends, there are some who don't get along with each other. So if you are dating someone, I think it would be highly unlikely that all your friends will like that person.
But ultimately, you're the one who might be spending the rest of your life with the person you're dating, so even if all your friends don't get along with your partner, it still needs to be your decision whether you want to to continue to date them. |
