for my hubby, he's fine if i decided to fly again. The only thing is me myself reluctant to go, cos of the training. Its gonna be silly for me to reject the high pay job and go for a decent pay. Furthermore, flying is wat i always wanted but didn't expect the training gonna be that long.

It's good to hear that you have a dream of flying and travelling. However, may I burst your beautiful dream of being a Flight Stewardess?
We have a former flight stewardess here who was formerly with SIA. The working hours will be irregular and resting time will be jam packed. There won't be much time for travelling, sight-seeing and shopping. There will be days off, but you will need to be on stand-by and be ready to fly should there be a shortage of cabin staff.
A short stint will be already when your family supports your decision. If you want to be close to your family and unwilling to be away for long periods, then you I suggest accepting the GSO position.
In such situations, it's a "you win some you lose some" kind of scenario. There will be some trade-off, and if you feel the trade-off is worth it, then go ahead with the decision.
