Relative of CK Tang executive chairman charged
A RELATIVE of CK Tang executive chairman Tang Wee Sung was charged in court on Saturday for being a party in an illegal kidney sale.
Whang Sung Lin, 43, is believed to be married to Tang's niece and is in the bedlinen trade.
In the deal where Tang would have paid $300,000 to a middleman for a kidney transplant from an Indonesian donar Sulaiman Damanik, it is believed that Whang was to have gotten a cut.
