Actually by right our liver is supposed to detoxify any strange substances that is taken in orally. The oral dosage is designed in such a way that the dosage is slightly higher so only a little makes it to the site where it does its jobs e.g. impair neurotransmitters from conveying pain signals in the neurones. The rest are already detoxified by the liver and passed out subsequently.
That's why the doctor always caution to stick to the recommended dosage. However there hasn't been any clinical tests to prove the link between the consumption of pain killers such as paracetamol and any long term possible side effects.
Conclusion is this, the actual chemical compound that you consume i.e. the paracetamol wont stay in your body but it is unknown whether the effect that it exerts on the body i.e. by interfering with the neurotransmitters, will...
