Regarding taxis, would like to share a true story with you all, especially those travelling with bf/gf.
I have a friend who's cousin went on a holiday to BKK with her bf. Outside the hotel, they got into a hotel but the taxi driver asked the guy to get some sort of paper from the hotel reception. So the guy went to the hotel lobby while the girl waited in the taxi for the bf to come back. But when the bf came back, the taxi was gone and he couldn't find any trace of the gf. It's already been 10 plus years and she still hasn't returned or contacted anyone. Suspect that she has been murdered/raped or used for begging by triads or wtv.. Please be careful.  Christabel
