Unfortunately i cannot enlighten you as i am politically ignorant ...

to add on to what i've said earlier, one thing that i think could have been improved was that the govt has to do more to justify their actions, if not it will just end up with people just condemning them on the spot without any open discussion (like raise GST = govt eating money concept)...it's bad on the surface but how about some long term benefits and advantages? it would take some good research and probably a market expert to give you all the details on why an increase 2% GST helps...or may help haha...instead of just trying to condemn the govt without any evidence against the hike
