There are many many different kind of hamsters available in the market. For big, cuddly hamster species would be Syrian Hamster. Small and furry ones would be dwarf winter white, dwarf campbell, or the smallest species of hamster would be Roborovski Hamster

The parents are not siblings actually. If place siblings together, will they still have offsprings? That's inbreeding, which is not good right? Pardon me for my noobiness. | |

When winter white pearl and winter white sapphires are being breed together, the babies that are produced will be normal, and there will be a mixture of winter white pearl babies and winter white sapphire babies. Sometime (for my case) i got winter white russian hamster babies
Normally parents if they are being mated with their children will not be able to produce offspring as the parents might be too old to give birth, whereas if siblings are being placed together to mate they will give birth to babies (inbreeding can be done between hamster siblings, but the chances of giving birth to less hamster babies will be higer, normally less than 5, and some will be stillborn...that means....they passed away once they are born...

) Sibling hamsters can be placed together to undergo mating, but the best would be to get male and female hamsters that are not sibling to breed.
