I am year 3, but I have learned more outside school than in school. There are lots of resources online.
Do you know basic programming? It would be much easier if you do.
Web Dev, consider picking up PHP.
Download EasyPHP and install it, then start with some basics :
http://w3schools.com/php/default.asp and get a simple to understand book.
If you need to know a function, just google, it will come up.
Web Design, learn Basic HTML then CSS/XHTML. Use dreamweaver, but understand the code.
I started programming with Flash. There are many resources online such as Kirupa.com for that, but you need the flash software. After learning the basics, you can press F1 in it, and there's a function reference.
