Tourists make the best of stay despite haze SINGAPORE: Despite a haze index still in the 80s on Saturday, tourists were making the best out of their visit here.
Ferries from Indonesia were also packed, with visitors here for the long weekend.
Mount Faber has seen clearer days, but the tourists here don't seem to mind.
The cable car operator says the prevailing haze has had little effect on business.
In fact, more people are expected to take the cable car to Mount Faber and Sentosa over the long holiday weekend.
Over at the Singapore Cruise Centre, operators say many Indonesians from Batam Island are coming to Singapore to visit their friends and families over the festive period.
Ironically, some are unaware about the haze problem that started from where they came. - CNA /dt To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
